House of Representatives member, Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi, who represented the Ibadan North federal constituency of Oyo State, has passed away.
Akin Akinwale, a media personality and native of Oyo State, confirmed the development through his X handle on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
“We lost Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the NASS. This is really sad. Ah God,” he posted.
The late Olaide was a two-term member of the lower chamber elected under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
His demise comes two months after the death of the Member of House of Representatives, representing Garki/Babura federal constituency of Jigawa State, Hon. Isah Dogon Yaro.
Hon. Dogon Yaro died at the age of 46 in the early hours of Friday, May 10, 2024.
Dogonyaro was a also member of the All Progressives Congress.
