Globacom founder and CEO, Dr. Mike Adenuga, has debunked rumours of his death, affirming that he is alive, healthy, and actively engaged in business activities.
The confirmation came from veteran journalists Otunba Dele Momodu and Nifemi Oguntoye, who publicly addressed the misinformation.
Momodu, in a post on X (formerly Twitter) last night, stated that he had spoken directly with the reclusive billionaire, who assured him of his well-being and expressed gratitude to those who reached out with concern.
“Ignore the fake news… The Spirit of Africa DR MICHAEL ADENIYI AGBOLADE ISOLA ADENUGA is hale and hearty. He’s right now at his desk working round the clock in support of the Nigerian economy… He just called me to thank everyone for their concern…,” Momodu posted.
Similarly, Nifemi Oguntoye, another respected journalist, also refuted the claims, tweeting succinctly, “Mike Adenuga is alive.”
This reassurance from trusted sources has put to rest the baseless speculation surrounding the health of the Globacom chairman, who remains a key figure in Nigeria’s telecommunications and economic landscape.
