Record African champions Super Falcons will know their opponents for the 2022 African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers when the draws are held on Monday.
CAF, in a statement on their website on Thursday, announced that the draws would be held at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
“The Total Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2022 will pit the continent’s finest women’s football teams against each other next year.
“The competition is also a qualifier for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia-New Zealand 2023.
“CAF will also conduct two more draws on Monday: African Qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 and the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022,” part of the statement read.
The Falcons have won the AWCON title nine times. Their last was in Ghana in 2018.
